Current Definition

A personal, stream-of-conscious journal that is published to the web. Bloggers often hangout in virtual communities. some of these have a specific theme. Blogs often richly linked, making reference to web sites and web goings-on.

Blogs are an example of rapidly changing web pages published and updated by "end-users". while blogs are an example of end-user web authoring, they are not exactly an instance of collaborative design, since they are owned by one person. However, looked at as a collection, they do form an evolving, collaboratively constructed information space.
