Section Views
Section refers to a piece of the LivingBook (e.g., "Part", "Chapter", etc) that is found in the table of contents.
The LivingBook supports several ways of looking at Sections, or section views, which are described on this page. (The section view is specified by the user via the Section Menu)
Full Text
This is the most common view - simply the text of the current section as you might see it in MSWord.
Glossary Terms are represented as bold links. Clicking on a term link brings up a pop-up definition of the term.
Citations are also represented as links. Clicking on a citation pops up a window displaying the full reference.
References
All the references cited in the current section are listed. Clicking on a reference will bring the user to the Sources page for that reference.
Terminology
A list of the key terminology used in the section. Each term is the head of an expandable list that contains links to other sections in which this term appears. Terms with glossary definitions are shown as bold links. Clicking on a such a link will bring up the definition in a pop-up window.
Discussion
(not yet implemented)
Provides access to a threaded discusssion about the section.
